← back to the studiohow to choose a video
production company.
Dubai has hundreds of people who will sell you a video, and a much smaller number who will make one that actually represents your brand. Here's how we would choose, the same standard we hold ourselves to.
- judge the work, not the reel titles
- ask who actually shoots
- plan for versions, not one file

asked often.
What's the first thing to check?
The work, specifically, work for businesses like yours. A showreel of unrelated highlights proves a good editor, not a good production company. Ask to see full films, not compilations.
What questions should we ask before signing?
Who actually shoots and edits, in-house team or freelancers booked per job? How many revision rounds are included? What versions do we get, vertical, horizontal, cutdowns? Vague answers here are the whole story.
Does in-house really matter?
Yes. A studio that shoots and edits its own work controls quality end to end and can turn changes around in days. When the shoot is outsourced, every revision becomes a negotiation.
How should we compare quotes?
Line by line, not total to total. Check crew size, shoot hours, edit rounds, versions and usage rights. You get what you pay for, the cheapest quote usually means the fewest of all of the above.
